yeah… well that was me today!!

i saw a building on fire in my neighborhood and filmed it with my trusty iPhone 4

The video is not entirely new.. it is a re-edit of a much longer version i posted on the (Now Dead) “Gaydee Bunch” queer collab channel i was part of a few months ago… but just because that channel is dead, doesn’t mean my video has to be!

“City2Surf (or City to Surf) is a popular road running event held annually in Sydney, Australia covering a 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) course. The event is a “fun run” as well as a race, attracting both serious runners and community participants who can choose to run or to walk.

The Sydney City2Surf has been held as an annual event since the first run on 5 September 1971. It was conceived by the staff of The Sun (now The Sun-Herald) and inspired by the Bay to Breakers event in San Francisco.

The first event was jointly organised by the Amateur Athletic Association of NSW and the NSW Women’s Amateur Athletic Association. The first event attracted just over 2000 competitors, most of whom were registered athletes belonging to the many Registered Athletic Clubs that were part of these two bodies.

Since 1973 it has been held on the second Sunday in August, except for the race held in 2000, moved to July due to the Sydney Olympics in August.[1]

Today marks 9 months sober.
It’s not been all smooth sailing.. i’ve been on and off the wagon for years, but i really feel like i am beating alcohol for good this time.

forgive me for the duration of this video.. It is really long.. but it says all i wanted to say.. and includes some flash-backs to some of my old vlogs too.

Here is the letter i wrote to alcohol:

Dear Alcohol,
It is time i leave you once and for all.

You have been such a strong influence in my life for far too long, and i have not had the strength to say no to you.
When we were separated in 2007, I grew and blossomed like a flower. It was a great time for me. Everything in my life improved.
You came back 18 months later and wanted to get together socially and i foolishly agreed.

In the following few months, you worked your way back into my life full time and undid all the good i had done for myself in your absence.
Why did i allow that to happen? Why did i let you back in? I KNOW you are bad for me, and i know you are not trying to help me.. so whats wrong with me?

I guess i can thank this park for a lot of my weight loss success. I walk through this park every single day.. It’s a great way of keeping fit.. but really, i just go because i am in love with the park.. it is SO big, and there is SO much to see… this video really doesn’t do it justice.

My friends and i were hanging out, i was showing them my iPad, and then we got the brilliant idea to play iScrabble. We all have iPhones, so why not!
Was a whole bunch of fun..

We want to do Monopoly next time but there is no monopoly iPad app yet… We might have to play the real physical board.. How yesteryear of us!

I am so glad to learn that Australia lost the world cup soccer game thing… Now all the obnoxious, fuck head pretend soccer fans can fuck off back out of my face.

Soccer isn’t a big deal in Australia. There are other sports here that people seem to be into and you just never really seem to hear about Soccer….. Until an Australian team gets into the World Soccer Cup thing.. and then all of a sudden, everyone pretends to be a long time Soccer Fanatic from way back.
Why? why do they do that? Why are they all of a sudden a massive fan just because a team from their country is in the competition?

I don’t get peoples mentality when it comes to sport… Though i am sure most of those people don’t get why people like me are so into pop-culture and celebrity gossip either.

Oh well… live and let live i guess.

I just finished watching the 1984 version of Nightmare On Elm Street… and really want to see the new 2010 version!

Also, though GaGa’s Alejandro video still makes absolutely no sense to me, it is really growing on me.. i am really starting to like it.

Ok, it is 4am, and i have just watched this for the first time without adequate coffee consumption, so forgive me for not understanding this video AT ALL!

Of course i love it, but it’s gonna take me a few more views to understand exactly what the hell is going on!

Today is my dad’s 48th Birthday.

Comfort eating is no myth. When the weather is shit, and i’m having a miserable day, it is very hard to stay motivated.

I love food.. i think about food all the time..- It’s hard to keep the weight off sometimes.
- I wonder if Paris Hilton has the same trouble?

My friend “GO” has so much crap in his apartment, we thought we’d do a show and tell video with some of it.

While walking down a busy city street, a drunk crazy lady decided to befriend me and tell me about all the drama in her life.. i managed to capture some of her with my flipcam! FUN!

also, there is iPad fever everywhere.. you can’ escape it.. it’s everywhere!

I love this.. the worlds two greatest inventions, working in unity.
