We met on some internet dating site.. Yes, it’s all very Gen-Y here.
We chatted on the net, and on the phone for several days and eventually met for a lovely and romantic first date… It was great. It was like we already knew each other - Great chemistry, no awkwardness.. Not to mention, he’s funny and very cute. (and sexy as hell in his form-fitting shirt, showing off his gym-toned bod)

Anyway.. things felt great.. I though i had FINALLY sorted through all losers and bad dates and met someone Perfect.

He came over a couple of days later and it was all very great.. I was excited. I thought i had finally found the romance i had been craving for a long time.

Yeah.. and then he stopped calling… Totally went cold.

and to make it worse, i was chatting to a friend about it, and he suggested i watch “He’s Just Not That Into You”..
I’m not sure why i went along with that.. it turned me into a total stalker bitch.. i kept making excuses like he must have lost his phone, or been run over by a taxi. Millions of reasons why he hasn’t called.

But a couple of days, i woke up and smelled the coffee.. It’s true - He’s Just Not That Into Me.

2009 has been an eventful year.. and per usual, i have spent the year being a nutter!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

So i watched Clueless for the first time yesterday. Apparently i wasn’t qualified to be going around calling myself a homosexual without having seen it!

Also… i have to move.. and i am SO sick of looking for a new apartment.. OVER IT!

WOW! Can’t wait to get this!

So it turns out that the guy i have been seeing is actually a Christian.. I just don’t know how to deal with that.

Yeah - i kinda got fired rom my last one.. SUCH a long story, but basically i guess i was a little too argumentative and didn’t keep my trap shut about things i didn’t like.. In hindsight, having only been employed with them for 4 months, maybe i should have left some of the management decisions and discussions to the management team… but hey - You Live, You Learn.

But it all worked out for the best.. i am LOVING my new job.. and thats a huge thing for me.. I usually hate every job.. especially in the first few weeks.
This job is perfect in so many ways:
- It is a 3 minute walk from my apartment [Tick]
- It’s full of happy, easy going people [Tick]
- No more night shifts!! it’s 6am till 2pm [Tick]
- They care about their staff and have a kitchen full of foods and drinks and ice creams.. Free For All [HUGE fucking tick!]

The job is in a security control room monitoring alarms and stuff.. it’s what i was doing before i worked in hotels, so i pretty much know what i am doing already.

In other news… let’s talk boys. - well…. Men actually!

I have a date tomorrow.. And this guy is a little different to my usual interests.. He’s over 30! yep, it’s true.. he’s actually 38. That’s nearly A HUNDRED!
No but seriously, he is Chinese, so he doesn’t really look that old.. he really only looks 25. And he seems nice and genuine.. so why not meet him and see what happens?
Of course i’ll have to strip him down and have a good look at him to know if i like him though… but that’s normal.. You’ve gotta know what you’re working with.

So life is very very good..

This was no ordinary movie.. we’re talking about “Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT”

Michael was, and is such a huge part of my life. Not only do i love his music, adore his dancing and admire his generosity.. I have also made some truly amazing friendships through a mutual love of him.
In such a hateful and negative world, It is so refreshing to meet people who share your passion for something loving and positive.
We have been friends for years now, and have supported each other through the highs and the lows.

So who better to view such a prolific and emotional documentation of Michaels life than with the beautiful people he brought into mine?

At 9:30pm, in a packed theatre in Gold Coast, Australia, we held hands and watched an intimate insight into the greatest entertainer to ever walk the earth.

It was lovely to see his passion in his work. He was a true perfectionist, and even the finest of details mattered to him.

The film is organic, and it’s raw. It is put together from footage that was never intended to be seen on a big screen, but thats what i loved about it.
It’s not perfectly framed and lit, it’s like a real backstage pass.. a window into the creation, an into the passion and mindset of a genius. It’s not polished, and it doesn’t need to be. Michael shined so bright, at some points you forget you’re not watching a real concert.

Co-Creator and director of THIS IS IT, Mr Kenny Ortega is responsible for the creation of this masterpiece, and he deserves no end of adulation for it. He sacrificed his own grieving time to keep Michael’s dream alive. He worked tirelessly and lovingly to honour Michael Jackson, because he knew him, and he knew the world needed to see this film.

Thank You Kenny Ortega. I Thank You and I Love You. - You have continued to breathe life into Michael’s memory and legend and you will never be forgotten for it. You are a wonderful person. L.O.V.E. Forever

Last night was FABULOUS! I went to the Liza Minnelli concert at the iconic Sydney Opera House. What a great night. Liza is such a great performer.. she really shines on stage.. oh and.. she LOVES ME!

Only problem was the seats.. we had a dreadful view of her.

What a fabulous VMAs this year! And it didn’t include Britney for a change. Lovely!
Starting with a lovely speech by Madonna about Michael Jackson, and then the fabulous dance tribute to him which included his sister Janet Jackson… you knew you were in for a good show!

my Review vlog talks about the Kanye West/ Pufft Swift incident, Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, and of course, the “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” film trailer. Can’t wait to see the whole film.

Great interview.. I think La Toya is a little dramatic running around all over town yelling that Michael was murdered but not saying who or why… but she’s never been known to sit back and keep her trap shut!

I’ve spent the past month trying to be super positive about everything going on.. and it has really helped, but in the past couple of days i have kind of slipped.

First of all.. the biggest confession - i drank the other night.

A friend came in from out of town so a few of us went out for dinner and then to a gay bar for drinks. I had not planned to drink.. i was quite happy to sit there and sip my soda.. but it just didn’t work out that way.
The bar was FULL of people.. and when your sober in a bar full of drunk pretty people who are all having a great time, you really start to feel left out.. well, i did.
Everyone was pissing me off.. and i thought that if i were drinking, i would be having fun too… So i did.
I drank a lot, and to top it all off, i smoked cigarettes too.. what a vision.. someone who has been running around for a month telling everyone who will listen that he no longer drinks - drinking and smoking the night away.

I hated myself the next day, not only cause my head hurt a LOT, but because i really felt i had let myself down. But i am not staying focussed on that now. I know i made a mistake, but i am not going to work myself into a state of depression about it. The wagon seriously needs safety belts installed! I jumped straight back on though and this is where i hope to stay. I’m only human.

In other news.. i slept with James last night.. WOOPS!
He had sent me a text asking if i want to hang out, and i replied that i doubt his new lover would like him seeing me. He then replied that they had broken up.. “Good” i wrote, “I hope it hurt”

yadda yadda yadda, somehow i wound up inviting him over to talk and then.. yeah.. hehe
But don’t worry.. I’m not going back to him. It was just one of those things.. i think everyone has sex with their ex at least once right?
I think it was just a bit of a comfort thing, for both of us.
I had been feeling lonely, and really missed having someone in my bed to hug.. i needed cuddles.. but hey.. i’m good now.
back on the sober, James free wagon..

Sometimes we fall down, but we have to jump straight back up again.

Oprah plans to dedicate an upcoming episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” to late mega-star Michael Jackson.

Harpo Productions announced Wednesday the episode, to air Sept. 16, will feature excerpts from Winfrey’s 1993 interview with Jackson.

According to a release from Harpo, Winfrey will remember “the King of Pop with never-before-revealed personal details” from the interview.

The 24th season of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” premieres Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 14 and 15, with a two-part interview with singer Whitney Houston.

Today is August 29th… Which would have been Michael Jackson’s 51st Birthday.

It’s been over two months since his passing already, but i think it is fair to say the world is still in shock. The press are still making a circus of everything, There are still so many questions, and sadly, Michael’s body has STILL not been put to rest. - Not good at all.

Everyone will be going through many different emotions today, but i choose to smile. That’s what Michael would have wanted.

If Michael’s death has taught me anything, it is that life really is short, and nothing should be taken for granted.

Today i am thinking about his his mother Katherine, his siblings, and his 3 beautiful children.

There are two quotes which say my exact thoughts about Michael, Sorry, i am not sure who said them originally…

“Don’t cry because it’s over, Smile because it happened”

and

“The light that burns twice as bright, burns half as long.. And you have burned so very brightly”

RIP Michael, I love you. For All Time.
