Mariah’s ‘E=MC2′ album came out on April 15… 2 weeks
before Madonna’s ‘Hard Candy’ hit stores on April 29.
US Week 1 sales:
Mariah - 460,000
Madonna - 280,000
(Mariah wins by 180,000 copies)
Worldwide Week 1 sales:
Mariah - 617,000

i tried really hard to resist downloading the leaked Madonna album.. i wanted to be a good boy and wait till the official release, but i couldn’t help myself.
