Michael sold Neverland.

Some would call this a good move. The reputation of Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch has been forever tarnished. They would say this is a good step away from the painful past and into a fresher, happier future.

I see this as a sad day.

Michael Jackson grew up on stage. His entire life has been on display for the world to point and stare. When he build Neverland, he finally had a place to be himself. To live the childhood he was not allowed when he was young. A place where the spying eyes of the media and the judgment of those who refused to understand him could not reach him.

His heaven, his safe place, was invaded and contaminated with evil and those memories will never go away.

I love you Michael. I hope that the haunted memories of the past stay in the past with Neverland.
