On This Day.. Spice Girls press conference

June 28th 2007 - The Spice Girls help a press conference at The O2 in London.

The announced that they would be going on a world tour starting that December spanning the globe, including Australia.

I was so excited that they would be coming to Sydney. I had been a Spice fan since i was a child and seeing them in concert at long last was going to be fabulous.

So i was more than a little disappointed when, during the tour, they just made an entry on their website blog advising that Australia (and other countries) were going to be crossed off their tour schedule.

I really lost my love for them after that.
